ရှမ်းပြည်တိုးတက်ရေးပါတီ(SSPP) ထူထောင်ခြင်း ၅၁ နှစ်ပြည့် အခမ်းအနားကို ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်တောင်ပိုင်း၊ ကျေးသီးမြို့နယ်၊ ဝမ်ဟိုင်းဒေသ နမ့်ပန်မြစ်ဘေးရှိ SSPP အထိမ်းမှတ်ကျောက်တိုင်မှာ ဩဂုတ် ၁၆ ရက်က ကျင်းပပါတယ်။

ရှမ်းပြည်တိုးတက်ရေးပါတီကို ၁၉၇၁ ခုနစ်ကတည်းက စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပေမဲ့ ရှမ်းပြည်တပ်မတော် SSA ကိုတော့ ၁၉၆၄ ခုနှစ်မှာ စတင်ထူထောင်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
